About the Therapist
Dr. Leslie (Morrison) Bushong began her career in occupational therapy in 2004 after graduating from Xavier University. She continued her education while practicing and earned a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University in 2006. Early in her career, Dr. Bushong lived in Florida, where she worked in both public and private school systems, provided pediatric home health services, and developed a therapy program that used SCUBA diving as a treatment modality.
In August 2008, Dr. Bushong relocated to Denver, Colorado, where she continues to work as an occupational therapist. With over 20 years of experience, she has specialized in providing private aquatic occupational therapy while also working in school settings.
